How to disable Alpine alaram w/o remote?
friend of mine just called me and his remote is out of battery.

I got him to try turning key to ignition and going back and forth 5 times but alarm still won't turn off and cannot start the engine.


is there different method for Alpine alarm?

There is a valet switch. It should be hidden somewhere under the driver side dash.Turn on the ignition and flip the switch. It will be a small toggle most likely. Or try and find the brain it will be a black box labeled alpine and unplug it.

she's all the the way out in abby and she does not know anything about cars..

looks like she need to walk 10min to walmart instead..
