| Help: Small Business Computers + Laptops
RS Computer Gurus, I am looking to purchase some desktops and laptops for a small business. The laptops/desktops need only to be efficient, effective and reliable. It will be used primarily for office use and there will really be no need for gaming type systems. I am looking for a spread of 3 different prices: 500-600 range, 700-900 range and 900-1100 range.
As for the desktops, I will be needing a combo set or if it is viable, I can always buy it separately. For the desktops, it will be the same requirements as the Laptops which are for office use. Price ranges will be the same for the desktops and combo + 100 dollars.
So if you have any ideas on some good laptops/desktop combos, let me know!
Thanks!

Sorry, off-topic, but if it is a business, you may want to look into leasing them. I believe Dell or HP offer their computers on a business lease program.

TigerDirect.ca also has off-lease office computers, so if nothing else you could look there on what kind of specs are being used for office computers.

Opinions on the brand MSI?
Looks like they have a VERY good deal on tigerdirect....
And leasing is not an option. Company told me to buy.

The MSI laptops that I've ever seen or read about seem to have terrible build quality. Best to do lots of research on the specific models.

Sources?
And thinking of getting the i5 one MSI A6200. Anyone know where I can view one locally?

Go with Dell. Large company with good customer support and you can get every thing you need from one place with one order.

Before, everything was really affordable but now, it seems way overpriced.

if you are looking into leasing - consider MCAP leasing, however, their min is $5000 lease.
Dell leasing requires a lot of paperwork

dont bother with lease....
leasing such small amount is just a waste of time. your accountant can write it off even if you purchase it anyways.
just call Dell business sales up and get a discount.

Do you have any onsite IT guys to resolve computer issues?
If not, then I'd go with Dell, Lenovo or any of the other companies that offer onsite support for issues. At least this way, you'll have support when you need it without having to waste resources on having someone take it to a local computer store and waiting for thing to be fixed and returned.
