FS/FT 97 Honda Prelude Clean, low kms!

This car is for sale again since I’ve decided to keep it last time. Winter wasn’t the best month to sell a car like this. *Just want to point out to those that don't know, automatic preludes are more likely to have their transmission break down in comparison to the 5-speed, keep that in mind when you buy one. I've had too many people lowballing me with auto preludes prices from Craigslist.

SOLD SOLD SOLD!
Specs:
-159k kms
-1997 Honda Prelude non-SH, 5 speed manual
-Power windows/doors/locks/mirrors
-Sony CD deck w/ mp3
-cloth int w/ heated front seats (clean!)
-2.2 DOHC H22A4 VTEC, 195 hp 156lb/ft torque

MODIFICATIONS:
- VIS Carbon Fiber hood
- Brand new set of Hankook tires installed on vehicle (Never used during winter)
-99 Spec front grill
-Front lip, painted oem side-skirts and rear lip
-JDM Fog Lights with Genuine Honda fog light switch
-Clear side markers
-17" Konig Monsoon rims (from last owner, some curbage)
-Short Ram intake with Fujita Air filter
-5zigen axle-back exhaust (c/w silencer)
-Front and Rear strut tower bars
-Eibach Pro-SYSTEM (Dampers and Springs that are made to work with each other, comes with stock suspension)
-Compustar 2-way alarm with programmed windows and sunroof buttons. (Very useful in Summer, lets the heat out before you get in)
-Razo Shiftknob

MAINTENANCE:

-Timing Belt, Water Pump, Auto Tensioner all done last year @ Garage Five (with receipts)
-New oem rear endlink and sway bar bushings also done last year @ Garage Five (with receipts)
-7 months old Hawk brake pads up front
- 4 months old rotors and Hawk brake pads in the rear
-Synthetic oil since 117k every 4000 kms, lots of receipts for oil!
-Just had oil cooler O-ring replaced 3 weeks ago, and replaced knock sensor as well, also done at Garage Five (it was throwing CEL, but all cleared now!)

It comes with 3 keys: one regular, one valet and one learning key.

One accident: Rear-end related and it was all cosmetic (dented bumper) and scuffed one tail light. I have the pictures of the accident if you want them.

Yo

Anybody who knows anything about Preludes know that these "automatic" transmissions only go when people don't know how to drive a tripitronic transmission vehicle. A perfect example would be my car that I have for sale here on RevScene and on Craigslist which has 203000kms and the tripitronic transmission is perfectly fine. Your transmission can go just as easily if somebody drove it who didn't know how to drive a 5 speed. With that said, don't bash other people's cars in an attempt to sell yours. Thanks.

Thank you for replying to my thread, but I would prefer a private message for further concerns.

First off, my intentions were not to bash on other people's car in attempt in sell mine, but rather tired of phone calls stating how they can find a similar vehicle for $5000 on Craigslists. This is evident as I was one of the first Preludes posted for sale on the site before the automatic ones were listed.

Also, I am only stating the facts in regards to the automatic transmission problem in these Preludes. Even given the same driver under the same driving conditions, the automatic is more likely to fail. Period. I understand that you take good care of your vehicle, and I applaud you for that; however, I can guarantee the majority of buyers interested in the Prelude will not drive it purely for commuting purposes without using the Sport Shift feature.

Having that said, I will reword my writing to prevent any further problems relating to my "bashing" of others' vehicles.

Reference:

http://www.preludezone.com/5th-gen-h...ure-guide.html

http://www.preludeonline.com/f60/if-...e-read-106839/

Or you can just type in "Honda prelude auto" on Google , and the word "Problems" will be the first word to be filled in.

thread bashing is unecessary, let's just keep the thread clean. Nice prelude, gl on sale bud!
