Post your mobile gaming devices! I took this picture today to show my friends and myself just how far gaming has come in the past 20 or so years, yet at the same time retain the same taste (think pokemon) Then I got this idea of having everyone post their mobile gaming devices on RS. I shall start http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/4872/img2698f.jpg on the left - my original gameboy playing Pokemon Silver on the right - my DSi playing Pokemon Soul Silver Standing on *almost* the same spot in the game - New Bark Town in front of your house Nostalgic factor = win |
I was never into mobile gaming before the PSP and DS Lite. I had a Gameboy but the screen stopped working so I blew it up on Halloween. Everything in between from Nintendo seemed like a goofy toy. I had an Advance SP but rarely used it - having only 2 buttons really sucked the fun out of a lot of SNES games that ran on it! |
Does the TI-86 count as Mobile gaming? :lol |
Not something I have, but I thought it was pretty freaking cool. Good friend of mine has something called a Dingoo, plays all sorts of games. Thought it was really neat when he showed me :D http://img.ncix.com/images/46358_l.jpg I just have a regular old ds lite, sorry don't have an actual picture :( http://www.gadgetguy.com.au/assets/i...ndo_DS-red.gif |
i play enough games as it is..so i dont have anything on the go. i think it's not exactly leaps and bounds for mobile gaming...i think console gaming has the bigger edge evolutionary-wise. |
There's the one in Maple Ridge, on Lougheed and 226th, called Bobby Sox. They have a rock n roll theme going there; kinda like the one in Fort Langley. There's also Five Corners Cafe in White Rock which isn't as flashy. |
^ Wrong thread, Presto! |
^^^ FML... i blame it on the forums being turned off and confusing me! |
I'd turn on the Game Gear but I can't find 6 AA's. http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/467/img0037xq.jpg |

I had (have) a Gameboy Pocket (monochrome screen but smaller form factor than the original) http://kiwi333.files.wordpress.com/2...ocket_grun.png And a white DS Doesn't the Dreamcast controller have a slot where you can plug something in with a screen? I think it could play mini-games on it -that would make (the controller) portable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VMU http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...rycard_VMU.png |
I have an original Gameboy, a PC Engine GT with TV tuner, and....well, my new 17" Macbook Pro, I guess... |
I had a Gameboy, clear Gameboy Pocket, red Gameboy advance, 1st gen DS and PSP.. but my favorite, which I played on the most out of all my hand helds was my Gameboy Pocket Pikachu edition :D http://i.testfreaks.co.uk/images/pro...lor.439307.jpg I loved that thing until I broke the screen :( |
I had 2 original gameboys, the yellow GBC like above without the pokemon and fancy buttons, which I'm jealous of, and a white DS lite |
all these gameboy colours... I lost not one... but TWO at school (transparent purple then a lime green one) fuck I need to find the guy that stole them and ask for them nicely. |

I recently dug out my Game Boy Advance so that I could transfer FF6 to a flash rom, to play on my DS: http://www.gaminggenerations.com/sto...baoriginal.jpg |
i use to have a silver gameboy advance ahah and i used to play that kirby game all the time on my grandpa's original gameboy |
i remember playing Pokemon red on the gameboy and curiosity caused me to catch MissingNo and saved the game. Fucked up the cartridge. |
i had the original gameboy as well as gameboy colour and gameboy advance..this was from elementary to high school.. fun times then i got older i bought a psp 3 years ago and figured it would benefit me by modding it and playing classic MAME and SNES games on the go... then i find myself only playing it when im in the can in the mornings for 10 mins i drive so i dont commute.. i think its safe to say im done with portable gaming even when i travel, i prefer to just bring my netbook and watch movies on it |
