so i just got a a alpine type r 1222d and i theres this rubber circle thing that came with it but i forgot about when i screwed in the sub to the box.i think its called a screw cover gasket or something...but i dont know what to do with....do i need it or no?can someone please help me?
Its purely cosmetic so completely uneccessary.
Catalin, Its not a gasket, its a screw cover that goes on the outside of the sub, not in between the sub and box.

+1
if you want to use it, just push it in the groove where your screws are
its just for a cleaner look
but like orgasm_donor said, it is purely cosmetic
and it wont affect sound what so ever
