unless youa re playing a monster truck game or sthing
more suitable for like a spaceship game

Kim Jong Un 04-14-2010 09:55 PM

Yea I would like a car seat simulation, not a roller coaster ride.

No idea what company makes that one though.

Pretty cool force dynamics model though:

hal0g0dv2 04-14-2010 10:16 PM

that is sweet

InvisibleSoul 04-14-2010 10:58 PM

Yeah, some of the movements look WAY too extreme... I don't think the front end of the car lifts up 30° on acceleration. :lol

But it's still pretty awesome... and I'll buy one if I win >$10M lottery. :p

to get it to actually have the kinds of forces you get in a car, you're gonna need rather extreme looking movements like that.

Greenstoner 04-14-2010 11:27 PM

wow, that machine looks mean

124Y 04-14-2010 11:32 PM

Wow that's pretty badass!

you are not really driving the car... so you need EXTREME movement to simulate the car motion.

it isn't simulating the cars motion. it is simulating the g-force you feel in a car.

ToyotaPowah 04-15-2010 01:58 AM

Damn.. I'd love to have one of those. Don't think I'd ever leave my house :p

tamazoid 04-15-2010 04:39 AM

I wonder what the simulator are like for F1 drivers?

Vansterdam 04-15-2010 06:24 AM

as some have already said, it's simulating the g-force.
So you get that pull when the car accelerates. You're not actually doing a wheelie.
It only tilts up like that so gravity sucks you back into the seat.

I'll hate to crash head on into a wall with that thing. Gonna give me real back/neck problems.

EmperorIS 04-15-2010 02:58 PM

diggy too fat to play
