As far as the 2 parades go, sad thing is some people (including the few on here) have made it a "Surrey" and "Vancouver" thing. What they don't realize is that they both celebrate the birth of Sikhism. Enjoy both people, as they are meant to UNITE the community and not further divide. And yes the demographics vary where the Vancouver parade is more "social" and the Surrey one is more "religious", but doesn't mean that they can't be both enjoyed.

As far as Kim Bolan goes, that bitch has ALWAYS been negative towards the Sikh community. She probably did the whole story on the 2 MP's and the "threats", but I'm sure there is more to the story, which she is NOT reporting.

The only IP you have is that of the server... and even if you do have the IP unless you're a government official or work for shaw/telus theres no way you're getting the address, the best you'll get is a generic readout of the general area they're in, and by general I mean Vancouver/Richmond/Surrey ...... anywhoo

Yes, this is EXACT the reason, but I didn't want to get into it cause most people on here see this as "TABLES & CHAIRS" issue. Because lot of people let their EGOS get in the way, this topic has gone to shits and as a result has created labels in our community.

The parade will happen next year regardless of the cost. The city knows they can make more money since this day is so significant in the Sikh community. Thats why they are taking advantage of this and increasing their BS fees.
