NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS1130) - The plug has suddenly been pulled on the night market planned to be set up next to the Starlight Casino in New Westminster.

The City says the application for a permit was withdrawn Friday, and no reason was given for the cancellation. The proposed casino night market was set to be debated by New West council on Monday.

basically that owner screwed over the casino

the Summer Night Market will be opening in May in Richmond, same location as everyone knows

the one by starlight was supposed to be the original guy

There's two night markets that were suppose to happen this year. Hopefully The owner of Zipang Sushi opens a Takoyaki stall there again!

really, i cant picture the night market anywhere else besides Richmond

richmond nightmarket sucks doubt this would be any better

and china town is prob gonna downgrade another half a block XD

chinatown one is so fucken bunk nowadays. dont even no why they bother to still have it each year

people don't even go there to shops

damn i use to remember chinatown there were 2 blocks and it was soo busy haha

now its just a different crowd

the fucken crack heads and homeless destroyed it. I used to love going down there 15+ yrs ago. Went with my parents and I was just so amazed of the Chinese culture and the food is beyond awesome and of course all the people cool stores and stands. Now theres just a bunch of bums walking the streets. I went a couple months back and there was this old women stealing shit from one of the outside stands and it made me sick :/

if only they had the night market somewhere very very close to canada line then it'd be perfect...

back in the day when it was at landsdowne it was perfect! then beside river rock was OK too, but now behind home depot just ruins traffic in that area + knight street bridge

when it opens back in richmond, we should do a cruise to there!

Man a lansdowne night market would be killer tho, especially its proximity to the canadian line.
