US Car Mph/Km Question

so i have a infiniti fx35 that was originally a us vehicle. its got the the u.s. gauge cluster with the MPH being the primary and KM being secondary.

i know the actual mileage of the car continues to store in miles not km, the more the i drive the km store as miles on the car. what about my trips meter though like trip A/B are those in also reading in miles or km? i am a bit unsure. i know the fx uses a lot of gas but seems like im getting a lil over 200(miles km??) per tank. i have a large 7" display which has a option that reads english/metric so when i hit the fuel economy button for the lcd screen it will tell me how many km i have left before empty, but i don't think it has anything to do with the actual gauge cluster.

so can anyone confirm on the gauge cluster??

well im like 180miles with probably quarter tank left. im sure i could squeeze 220-230miles out of the full tank. keep in mind it is a 3.5 v6, fx35 uses more gas then the g/z due to weight and i run 91-92 octane(92 in the u.s. which is often)

I have a Pathfinder (which I believe is heavier than the FX) that uses the same engine detuned to 240HP, I manage to get ~250 miles/60L of gas. Your mileage seems kind of low, but I do drive like a granny though.

not sure which is heavier weight wise but i'd also guess the pathfinder is heavier. i really only started watching my gas use just now so ill see what i get the next few tanks. the 3.5 is a common engine but im sure suspension, horsepower all make a difference in terms of gas mileage as well. i have also 20's on the car, think that slightly lowers gas mileage as well.
