Sorry for bumping an old ass thread, I didn't know if I should start a new one or not.
Former Air Cadet here and currently a Glider Instructor for the program. As of 1 Sept 2013. The government is ceasing operations of the Air Cadet Gliding Program all across Canada.
For those who care about the future of the Cadet program and the future of Canada's prospective aviators, send me a PM with your email you use for Facebook and I will add you in the movement to prevent this from happening.

Oh man that sucks. Back in the day, it was fun going to the airport and get in the gliders. And get toasted in the SUN! One of the best youth programs out there. I learnt so much from the program.

I think I know you too then. cause I did the same. If you are who I think you are you mite remember me too.
Amuro, unfortunately you wouldn't know who I am as I didn't play a big role in the 655 Squadron. It was the the year after you left that I transfered squadrons and started to develop into a stronger leader.
I still remember the first meet I saw you at, I'm all like "wth, isn't that...". This was before I found out you were an actual revscene member so I thought you were just a casual at the meet since I didn't think you liked cars much. But now that I think about it, it sorta makes sense since you showed us the bugatti veyron vs jet Top Gear video for one of the classes. At the end of the video you still said Planes > Cars tho |
