Anything over 500 fps (feet/sec) requires a firearm license to own.
And I believe bb guns aren't to be used for hunting because they are generally not strong
enough to painlessly kill an animal. (instant death)

Unless you have a firearm license with a 1000 fps + bb gun rifle...
But you probably shouldn't be shooting animals anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to shoot the bird. And I doubt the police will even know you shot the gun. Just clean it up and I think you'll be okay.. but if you have a simple air soft gun i don't know if it'll do the trick?

i said 5-8. why do i need to wake up at 5? + weekends. i dont need to wake up at 8 on a sat.

can you see where the bird is? if so just get the pellet rifle and video tape the shooting, dont show your face though.
