Second Meet - 7pm, Saturday, June 19!

Hey folks,

The weather is starting to warm up and a lot more sunnier days ahead of us. Let's get those bikes and cars insured, tuned up, detailed and ready to rock the summer! :thumbsup:

I would like to start hosting a series of bike meets for this rather quiet section on RS since it seems we're an exclusive, yet small group of people. I will however, extend the invitation out to the VIC and VLS forums. I will be more than happy if you would like to step up to the plate to organize a meet (doesn't have to be monthly) and to lead group rides! :)

Meets will occur on a monthly basis and will generally take place at the middle of the month on Friday evenings. We will meet at random generic locations accessible by everyone to meet for a coffee or something and if you guys want, go for a ride to a destination. Remember, this is a friendly meet open to everybody. All rules/etiquette apply (i.e. no excessive revving, stunts, wheelies etc.) Leave the attitude at home or don't show up.

Second meet will be held at:

Starbucks Coffee & Wally's Burgers - *Map!*
2611 East 49th Ave (and Elliot)
Vancouver, BC

We will meet at 7:00pm on Saturday, June 19. There will be plenty of time for everybody to get home, get changed, gear'd up and ready to ride to the meet. If you're hungry, Wally's Burgers is right there. Meet will end maybe at around 9/10pm'ish.

location location location. You can get here even if you don't have a car. 5min walk from Bridgeport skytrain station.

I'm in dude, gotta see that Vespa. Yet unless we both pass the road test before then we'll be out past our "bedtime" of sunset. :D

the parking lot at the sbux on Bentall St. isn't THAT big.

I still think the one on Byrne or Bridgeport is wayy bigger!

I don't think 20 cars will fill up the entire lot. This isn't an official RS Summer meet. :p

If the weather is good, we will meet upstairs, in front of Pet Smart. If it rains, we will meet downstairs in the covered area in front of Canadian Tire.
