Up for sale is my Lenovo S10 (it's the first edition one,
not the S10-2) netbook. I find I don't use it very much anymore now that I have a company issued laptop. It's a great little machine and very solidly built compared to other netbooks.
I've done a few upgrades to the machine over the stock which include:
*
6 cell battery for double the battery life (plus you'll get the original 3 cell battery with it as well)
*
Bluetooth module (original S10's in the US and Canada did not come with Bluetooth)
*
2GB memory upgrade (for 2.5GB total)
*Upgraded to a
120GB 7200RPM Seagate drive.
A fresh install of XP with SP3 is installed with all the latest updates + MS Security essentials for virus and malware protection. This is a registered version of XP (using the serial on the sticker on this machine so it's a legit version).
*The
original 80GB 5400RPM drive now has Apple's OS-X Snow Leopard installed on it, ready to go with all drivers installed and all functionality working.
The Atom processor and it's chipset made a great Hackintosh setup and there's a big Hackintosh community that can help provide support as well.
The machine is in excellent condition and looks almost like new. Included is all of the above upgrades as well as the original box, manuals and a neoprene sleeve for the netbook.
I'm looking to get
$300 for this, or willing to trade for an Intel X25 SSD (preferably 80GB) + cash to me or if you've got 2 X25's I'd be interested in that + cash to you. PM me if interested.
