Really depends what you are looking for. A good bonsai ranges for $130-$200. Yes you can buy one cheaper but the ages 6-15yrs it's easier to maintain and prune to the way you want it. I would research on the internet the different options and tree's then go to one or two of the stores ask the questions and find out for your self.

I really looked into it a couple years back and brushed it aside until now. I think i'm going to go out tomm and get my first one.

ive owned a couple.. i now have two left.. i dont even take care of em anymore

fyi .. its more difficult to care for them in your house, as its dry in your house.. unless u dont mind misting it every day

if you want an indoor bonsai get a banyan tree, i had two and they died from parasites lol

larger bonsai will cost about $200..the smaller ones they have there are anywhere from 40-80$

IMO just get a bigger one man or buy mine lol

so does anyone know whether the location that is provided in the link called "Bonsai Orchid" is the same store as "Sunny Bonsai"? They seem to be located at the same place and I can only find the number for "Sunny Bonsai" via Google but not for "Bonsai Orchid"..

same place and i believe life time pruning is correct

if u want them to wire and help shape your bonsai, its like 10-15$

my infested ones died and its hard for a picture because mines an odd ball shape (not similar to the ones above at all) and it hasnt been pruned in a season or two lol

The owner of Sunny Bonsai/Bonsai Orchid is a family friend... they've been around for many, many years... same people as the ones that had the stand at Metrotown before.

My dad plays around with Bonsai trees too... he has a lot of cool ones where he shapes the branches into hearts and stuff.
