Another got this annoying new spyware/virus?

A couple days ago I suddenly got this pop up whenever I go to my folder with videos in it. The title of the pop-up is "Program Compability Assistant" (the wrong spelling is already a clue there), and it keeps telling me windows is missing a codec, either showing GOM/WM/Explorer icons (depending on what program I was using). Every other part of my computer is fine though however.

I've basically tried running quick and full scans from these following programs

Malwarebytes
Norton
Spyware Doctor
Super Antispyware

I've exhausted all my google search "savvy" and still couldn't find anything. I reckon this is a pretty damn new spyware/virus because I updated Malwarebytes to the newest edition and still fails to pick up any type of spyware/virus.

Does anyone else have this? If so (or if you have a suggested solution), please help! I can't watch jack shit on my PC right now thanks to this.
