i'm a bit irked that AZ didn't get huge and Nas is not even popular in Van, most my frds listen to rap hiphop 99% the time and wouldnt know a verse to one Nas song |

when i first saw this thread, i was like 10? that's a lot. then i realized that list is way too short: -pharcyde -de la soul (can't believe they didn't get a mention) -gza (matter of fact, all wu-tang when there shit was hitting) -buckshot -alkaholikz -del -extraprolifics (if you never heard of him, and you liked hyro, check him out) -outkast -artifacts -organized konfuzion -organized rhyme -eminem (let's be real, the man is skilled in his craft) -redman -the roots -black sheep -ice cube (lethal injection and death certificate were dope albums) -dj quik (i love this guy from day 1) -oh shit! forgot ice-T! -cocoa brovas aka smiff n wessun -mac dre -mac mall (you can throw in all the artists off ybb records, though i'm not really into the hardcore shit, these guys were young and skilled for sure) -ahmad -oh shit! ghetto boyz! -nas (illmatic and it was written /everything else) -good god! the beastie boyz! -blahzay blahzay -public enemy -guru, of course -tribe -jungle brothers off the top of my head, that's it. i know there's more in there though |

Im not the type a guy who will listen to a whole album. I usually only like 1 or 2 songs from an artist. Each song gives off a different vibe. |
