lyrically, biggie was way on another level. clever lyrics were not tupacs thing. biggies lines require thought and some interpretation which is typical of east coast style (nas, mobb deep, etc...), unlike west coast lyrics which are most of the times, too literal. also, tupacs flow is just waayyy too easy to make fun of, as you've seen on chapelle show. its unique sounding though, i'll give him that. |
