Hexagonal bumper mesh

Any of you guys know where I can get some Hexagonal Lambo style bumper mesh locally ?

looks like this, and the owner of this car told me it's perforated steel. I wonder if it's available in plastic too. PLEASE CLICK ON THE PICTURES SO YOU CAN SEE IT FULLSIZE TO SEE EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.

Chicken wire mesh from Rona (I find they have a better selection in shapes/sizes compared to Home Depot or Canadian Tire.) It looks exactly like that, but it is more flexible and harder to work with (it comes coiled up so it hard to flatten and cut).

If you want something stiffer and easier to work with, ricer shops have stuff specifically for this, but it's much more expensive. It will look almost exactly the same as the chicken wire mesh, however.

You can get honey comb material from any decent place that sell fiberglass / CF.. it has to be cured though before you prime and paint.

^ I'm planning on powdercoating it gloss black, which places would sell fiberglass? only thing I can think of is body shops

the hardware store mesh is similar, but when you really closely look at it it looks like shit compared to the real thing.

Any plastic shops like Plastic Works, Industrial Paint and Plastic locally can order it for you.

I get mine from the States with my truck and with a simple house freezer.. since they are prepregged, they are very temperature sensitive. You can also try places like Pitt Meadows / Langley airports. Any place where kit planes are serviced they should have it.

If you go for the composite route, be prepare to make 2 moulds and you will need to have to proper setup to do it.
