well, for us asians, some specialty goods needs to be purchased in asian markets (aka asian noodles, sauces)

I live in Richmond, and I usually go to Ackyroad's save-on and then to the small asian store a few metres away from it for noodles and sauces.

saveway is my "last-minute" place to go since i live 5 minutes away from it and usually just go there for drinks and snacks.. their deli meats do not look appealing at all.

from the overwaitea,
save on foods open late as well. midnight.

while pricemart/ coopers/ urban fare close around 10pm

i like to support our bc owned stores.

saveonfoods, thrifty foods, fairway (only exist in van isle, the one in surrey went bust couple years ago)..

+1. I only support BC-owned supermarkets. I'm a regular @ Save-On and Price Smart. Safeway and Superstore are at the bottom of my list.

When I walk into a Superstore, I feel like I just stepped into the immigration office full of dirty, dirty people.

Superstore sells B-grade produce and I will give a +1 to Alphamale's comment.
