Kenwood DNX8120 BT Firmware Update problem

So, I have a DNX8120 installed in my car and I went to update the BT firmware from 1.6 to 3.2. I downloaded the fw from the Kenwood website and went through the procedure as stated on their website (dl fw to USB and plug in, etc. etc.) but the update procedure stopped halfway through the 'Now Updating' part.

I left the deck in this 'update' mode for over half an hour and nothing happened, so I ended up switching the car off. Probably a big mistake, but now when i turn the deck on, it immediately goes to the Updating Software screen and tells me to attach a USB drive. I've tried updating the fw again, but again, same thing happens.

My deck is somewhat useless right now as the Navi and DVD functions work, but if i want to access iPod / USB / Tuner, I will end up on the Updating Software screen.

Have I screwed up my deck? Can't find any help on the net in regards to screwing up a fw update for this deck....

Thanks

You should try calling kenwood directly....

their tech support is pretty good, I don't have the number on hand anymore. When I was a kenwood dealer I would always call them and 9/10 they have a solution.
