Its viral marketing for the shoes....obviously. Water repellant shoes enable this?? Don't be an idiot. Plexiglass platform right under the water. |

EVERYTHING THEY SHOW ON THE INTERNETZ IS REALZ!!!! |
I tried this using my crazy-worn, treadless, All-Stars, and I was able to get almost 3 steps (after a million tries), before I sank. The secret is to run the curve they showed in the video. Get as much speed on solid ground, so that momentum will maintain your vector. After you've mastered getting enough speed, then it's all about stepping/skimming the water, which is just a lot of practice with the timing. |
lol that jesus soccer ball video is halarious |

the fact that they keep doing it in the exact same line/spot on the water gives it away pretty quick |
seems convincing to me, run fast and in a curve |
go try it and report back. we'll be waiting to laugh at you |
Time to call the Myth Busters. |

You could run on a non newtonian fluid, like cornstarch mixed with water. |
