its getting hot..... how do you beat the heat???

weather's kinda beating me down lately

also.... what the hell can you do when BOTH sides of your pillow are hot and can't sleep? don't you hate it when that happens?

vafanculo 05-16-2010 04:21 PM

I need a fan on in my room at this time of the year. But I don't point it right at me, I point it downwards against a wall so I don't wake up with a sore throat.

Close your blinds/curtains. Have icy bottle of waters ready to go in the fridge.

I solve the problem the same way I solve most problems.

I get naked

1exotic 05-16-2010 04:24 PM

lay down on your stomach, and put a wet towel on your back, that shit usually does the trick know what I'm saying...

LiquidTurbo 05-16-2010 04:32 PM

murd0c 05-16-2010 04:52 PM

you call this hot? I have a ceiling fan and my portable A/C unit. I would honestly go out and buy one cause this summer is going to be cooking.

RRxtar 05-16-2010 04:58 PM

i bought a window AC unit specifically for my bedroom and that = win.

But compared to whats gonna be coming, this is nice weather. We're so dead in July and August if we think this is hot-hot.

I suggest you seek legal council

KingDeeCee 05-16-2010 06:46 PM

How is this hot o.O

If you find yourself sweating at night, it's probably because you are irritated and you keep rolling around causing you to sweat.

I advise you to stop moving. Sure, you will sweat on your back, but you'll feel fine everywhere else.

Take a really cool bath for 25 minutes before you go to sleep. You'll get a good 4-5 hrs out of it. Last year I took like 3 cold baths a day to keep my body heat under control

AccordCouped 05-16-2010 08:20 PM

sleep in the living room with windows open but it aint even that hot

124Y 05-16-2010 08:38 PM

This weather is no where near hot. In fact it still gets chilly at night...

It's the best at night. It's warm enough to wear shorts but still not as hot as the day. Wait till the Mosquitos get here though!

Got a portable unit last year and never looked back! There's tons out there to choose at Costco, Sears, etc! AC in the house is as important as a refridgerator in my opinion. For $400-$600, it's quite possibly the most happiness to price ratio I've ever spent.

hal0g0dv2 05-16-2010 08:54 PM

wow some people never stop bitching

JSilver 05-16-2010 09:58 PM

Its not even that hot out...
