BMW e46 - how can I get the daytime running lights to be turned off?

I just got my headlights installed with projectors and angel eyes (predator orion V2 from Umnitza.com). The angel eyes and projector bulb colour is 6000K. I got the angel eyes wired to be my daytime running lights but the original daytime running lights still goes on. The angel eyes are bright enough to be used as daytime running lights. The yellowish stock colour drl also takes away from the look of the angel eyes. I was told by umnitza that I would need to go to the BMW dealership and get the drl electronically disabled. Is there a way to DIY? Or does anybody know a shop that has the proper CPU to disable the drl's? I really don't want to pay a crap load of money to the dealership to do a 5-10min job (I am assuming) at the most. Thanks in advance

I found a place in Burnaby called: Nixon Automotive. They said they could do it for $60.00 It's about a 10 min job. Probably a lot cheaper than BMW. Brian Jessel BMW told me that can no longer disable DRL's even if you have angel eyes installed on your car. They said because of the law, the Canadian GT1 does not offer that option. They said if you could find a person with the American GT1 then it is possible. I'm going to stop by Nixon in the next few days and I hope everything works out.
