There used to be a nice place in Tinseltown 2nd floor across from the food court.. not sure if they're still there
just go to the mall.... tons of store sell leather jackets and they're priced in your range and below...

danier is good quality but old men style
zara is poor quality but stylish
your best bet is buy 2nd hand.
leather jackets are actually not bad buying 2nd hand - since longer they are worn the more comfortable and better looking they become (most)

Try looking at Danier's website or go to one of their larger stores. The ones downtown are really small.
Maybe try the department stores then like Sears or the Bay. If you were planning on going to the states (Tulalip Outlet Mall), Wilsons Leather has pretty good deals.

they had great designs (Montreal company they have a store over there)
The person designed, manufactured them herself
rather stylish think they were called Bod & Couture
