For those who didn't know the people in the commercial:

Enjoy the show as Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast) has it cleared off the line by Fabio Cannavaro (Italy) straight to Wayne Rooney (England) who has his pass stolen by Franck Ribery (France) and receives a chuckle from Landon Donovan and Tim Howard (USA) before clearing it off of Ribery and forcing Cesc Fabregas, Gerard Pique and Andrés Iniesta (Spain) to chuck their newspapers into the air before beating Roger Federer in ping-pong as the football is passed to Ronaldinho (who is not even named in this year’s Brazil squad… more on that in another post) who dances on the ball and inspires Kobe Bryant before his pass is stolen by Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) who scores on Homer Simpson (“Ronal—-DOH!”) and has his life story made into a film starring Gael Garcia Bernal, when he is fouled, lines up a free kick, images the unveiling of a staue of himself (VERY accurate, I’m sure) and strikes the ball…

so cool, really enjoyed that, i noticed a lot of soccer ads are usually very entertaining and fun
With all due respect to the NHL's outstanding campaigns in the past couple years, soccer ads have been the best for the last two decades. The worst part is...we don't get the majority of them on TV here. When I was I Germany for '06, there were just tons of just epic ads on TV for soccer. The adidas ones were pretty good but the best are always Nike ads like the Scorpion Tournament or the one with robot ninjas.

That and Superbowl commercials.
As much as I love hockey, NHL commercials are bloody stupid. Crosby's "Is this the year?" commercial was just ; and so are the "history will be made" commercials.
