Is there anyway to avoid paying the ridiculous parking fee? What happened to the street parking on River Rd?

I went and the parking on River Road is available as per previous years I don't know where that stupid information came from that you HAVE TO pay for parking.
Anyway most stalls aren't even open yet as of long weekend Monday....
1.) DIGGY
2.) Grandmaster Tse (because he'll be there anyways)

Various websites still promote the Starlight Casino location to this date.... I wonder what's up with that? Is it actually happening there as well? But the previous posts say that the permits for Starlight location is withdrawn....? Can someone near Starlight go and check it out for us?

well the previous owner was the one that did that little market by edgewater casino during the Olympics. He promised all the vendors this and that and none of those came up. Charged everyone a shit load of money for rent and everyone lost money. Told them that they'll get discounts at the market he wanted to do (the New West one) but that didn't happen so whole bunch of people got screwed
