its funny how you guys are justifying being cheap and saying "ppl need exercise" when its only 10min walk

shiet walking from Yaohan would be intense lol

^ yea, it gets expensive if u go with an empty stomach. Fill urself half full at home before going.

I went last Friday Night, and if you kind of wait till around 12:45 they'll start to close, and will try to get rid of the food for cheaper.

I saw this one guy who even managed to negotiate another 1/4 off the price.

orange7 06-26-2010 10:53 PM

does it cost $ to park at the side of the road, not in a parkade or parking lot.

One of my friends told me it costs money even on those lucky road side spots next to the curb.

that's bs.

I just like to go at 12:30am and get the cheap food.

jeanne_17 06-26-2010 11:02 PM

doesn't it close at 11pm?

no it doesn't i just came back from night market. as always there is plenty of spot for patience and non lazy people. Just don't park near fire hydrants and bus stops you will be fine.

Purely 06-26-2010 11:55 PM

did any of you guys get those cheese smokies this year?

have you ever tried to bite into one while walking in the crowd? It was so funny, i bit into one, and the cheese squirted out the other end right onto some guy's back, and he didnt know....

OhSoGood 06-27-2010 09:46 AM

wow you guys are cheap. $5 to park right next to nightmarket is better than walking 10-15 minutes lol

The exercise is a bonus. The main point is not being a dumbass and paying $5 to some bastard honger to save a few minutes.

And the whole experience of going to the night market is walking. If you can't add in 10 minutes of walking to your night market shopping then you shouldn't be going there in the first place. Or maybe I'm wrong and we need drive-thru lanes for all the stalls so none of us have to get out of our cars and, you know, walk.

Anjew 07-13-2010 03:00 AM

i went to the night market last friday and i decided to park further out and walk to the night market and within 5 minutes i noticed 2 clueless, inconsiderate, typical of richmond acts

first was a white wide body smart car (hope you are on revscene so you can read this)that pulled over on a parking spot along vulcan way enough for 2 regular sized cars. i pull over behind waiting for him to straighten out but he stops and parks his car in the middle of the 2 spots with half a fucking car length behind the car in front... my gf stopped me from approaching the driver as no good can come of that...

next i spotted a parking spot along no5 road around where fitness unlimited is. again there was enough room for 2 cars. i do a U-turn but was unlucky as the 2 cars (corolla and Lexus suv)in front wanted the spots as well. lexus in front does a normal parallel parking manuever and tries to back into the spot but the corolla behind drives in headfirst and forces the lexus to wait for them to fix their parking. As the corolla finishes, you would think the corolla would backup and give the lexus enough room to park in front but NO, the fucking bitch stops right in the middle and forces the lexus to keep moving... holy fuck i was fuming just witnessing this. i roll down my windows (despite the sour face my gf was giving me) and started to tell her off about how she parked in the middle of two spots... all she gave me was a wtf did i do expression.

soooo fucking hate the night market and inconsiderate people. mostly just the inconsiderates...

/vent

Bus? Revscene? ... Sorry, think most of us are still going to drive to rmd, cry about it, spend 20 minutes trying to find parking that's still a 10 minute walk away, cry about it, watch retarded c-lai's in their scratched up Cayenne's take up 3 parking spots, cry about it, then give up and pay 5$ for home depot parking, and then cry about it. Oh, and then walk 10 minutes to the entrance of the nightmarket and realize it'll be another 15 minutes before you can get to the food because of all the people. Cry about it.

FerrariEnzo 07-13-2010 05:35 AM

are the food still good at closing.. haha i think they will just quickly get rid of it instead of taking their sweet time make sure it taste like it suppose to??
