i think its fake.
The frame seems to be spliced in and how does the white tubing catch the backpack's left strap like that?
Wouldn't you try to grab the piping on your way down and the skateboard would have hit the ground already?

the direction of the skateboard just as he is about to fall
does not relate to the where the skateboard lands.
also, the movement of the camera shows an obvious frame splice

Looks fake, the pipe wouldn't catch like that... The bag is pretty tight,
the strap wouldn't be loose enough to have room for a pipe
(which isn't even blunt or pointed at the end) to wedge in to catch like that.
And if it was so close to a "cliff" like that, why would he even try grinding.
As someone mentioned, the location of the board doesn't match the speed prior to falling.
And he acted pretty calm. I think most people would try to reach back and hold on to the
pipe instead of flailing the arms and legs like that.
Pretty crazy 360 move at 0:08 though. Never seen a skateboard trick like that.

ya mostly fake, who wears a backpack while skating?? + the cameraman kept focusing on the backpack......

judging by how fast the camera is following the guy, if it was real you'd probably see him jerk when the bag attached itself onto the pole
