It's not just the racial slanders and other verbal abuse, but it's also a matter of technicality and principle.
The OP was first in on the narrow spot (narrowed by 2 parked cars on the curb). Anybody who's local to Vancouver residential zones should understand the practice when a street is narrowed to a single lane: The vehicle first or closer to the opening gets first pass, the further one yields.
Just because other's are a jackass doesn't mean they're entitled to a free pass on stepping on other people's toes. Would you guys allow me to cut in front of you in a bank, the que for a cashier, or in a walk-in medical clinic waiting room? You guys are the better man the me no? I'll keep that in mind if ever I do come across some of you. |
