	   | Bachelor Party Ideas

Besides the usual strippers, clubs, what ideas or events have you guys had success in the past?
My buddy likes basketball and is sort of active so I have planned a few activities that are more active.

Problem is, most of the guys attending are in horrible shape or have no interest. I don't want a bunch of pussys not taking part and ruining his day. This is what I've planned so far:

 1. Start the day off with a good shave from an old school barber shop (not sure where I will find one..)
 2. Basketball game (his fav.)
 3. Grouse hike (some visitors out of town that may like the scenery).
 4. Crossfit class (similiar to a circuit etc...)
 5. Going to rent a dude that makes an awesome bbq instead of going out to eat. I want just a crapload of guy food (basically meat) and beer. Don't care for Joe fortes and that sort of deal. Rather be doing stuff and on the go instead of sitting down and eating for 2hrs.
 6. Cigars in there somewhere
 7.?

I'll have to throw in strippers in there somewhere to keep some of them happy. Do you guys think it is too active? Since they would have to shower, would that slow things down too much?

Skip the basketball game and skip the Grouse Grind hike or anything too active. You will tire or bore some of the people.
Bachlor parties are about giving the groom to be a fun send off, so make it a lot of fun and do things you normally don't do, or won't get to do once he is married.

And don't drag it out by making it an all day event unless you guys are going away like to Vegas or Whistler.

The last thing you want is for people to get bored or tired and leave before the night is over.

Best one I have been to so far was a Roman Themed party. Everyone dressed up in Toga's. We had Team Chariot races (homemade Chariot's where one person rides the back and one person pulls. Gladiator games (weapons made from foam and then you draw your weapons from a hat and have to use them in battle) Roman themed BBQ with a pig and chicken and shit like that. Roman themed strippers.... it was awesome.
 Berz out.

My buddy pulled off what was perhaps the best bachelor party night ever.
1. Rent a van
2. Find a friend good with photoshop
3. Find a friend with access to commercial printers and supplies
4. Rip off the GGW logo and add whatever city you're in
5. Print banners and vinyl to cover the van with
6. Print and laminate fake access passes
7. Print fake release forms and get clip boards
8. Find a friend with access to professional photography and video equipment
9. Buy lots of booze
10. Drive around downtown
11. Let hilarity begin | | | | | 06-01-2010, 02:46 PM | #8 | | In RS I Trust

I went to one on the weekend, stoped by #5 then off to the fourm sports club to watch the fights and then the roxy after. Remember you want to keep things fairly close together to make it easier. And you don't want to plan too much since you want it to be more relaxing for the groom as well.Posted via RS Mobile | | | | | 06-01-2010, 02:51 PM | #9 | | Glorious Gaming PC Master Race

goto whistler, pay random girls for lap dances (for the groom). you'd be surprised how many girls will whore themselves out to a stranger ESP is they think they will never see you again.

No offense but doesn't sound like a bach party I would want to attend.
Basketball then grouse grind then something else? You're a super active health freak aren't you? You got to keep in mind others don't always share your enthusiasm.

Gun range + Go karting for an hour or so sounds pretty cool, then followed by beer n bbq. Then go home n shower up and hit the STRIP CLUB or something.

Flesh lights and smirnoff for everyone! arrange chairs in a circle.
Dude... ur party blows... if i liked you i'd tick "maybe" on the invite and not show up. if i didn't know you too well, i'd show the invite to my gf, let her have a good laugh, then forget about the topic as I rail her from behind.

 try this:

poker tourney or other male bonding activity from noon to 3pm
radisson richmond for 90 min. massage for everybody. pre book, bring own boooze, cigars and weed.
 get jerked off
party limo downstairs to River Rock or high end dining.
 liquor in limo a must
arrange for penthouse/presidential suite and strippers.

bask in the applaud of your peers.

7seven: I really can't stand all these idiots who hit the gym now just because they watched 300 and want to be like a spartan. Case in point, this skinny guy comes into the gym the other day, must have only weighed ~ 140lbs, loads on 2 plates on the bench rack, mutters to himself, for sparta, unracks the barbell and proceeds to drop it directly on his chest.

My buddy is pretty active and def. wanted b ball so that will stay on the list. Good advice in regards to keeping it close though, moving from place to place will be a bitch and I'll ditch the all day event. Its just too much to plan and ppl will be bored anyways.
You guys think Brandys is worth the extra $$

we went paintballing on the stag that i went too.
lots of different games you can play other than the stander team deathmatch.

we played president with about 8 guys
groom was the the president and the best man is his body guard.
you had to shoot the bodyguard in the bottom of the foot to get him out
the president cannot die until body guard dies
everyone went for the body guard while i was just shooting the president for shit and giggles

 highly reccommend paintballing

Yup, I've already considered paintballing just that I don't want him to be marked up really bad since the date is close to the wedding. But that was an awesome idea- in regards to the bodyguard thing. I think I just might have to steal it. I like how it gets the groom involved.
Thanks for everyones input, I'm not the biggest party animal as most of you can tell by now.
