Cheapest safe method of towing car to shop and home

Removing my tranny this weekend and as the title states i am going to need it towed to and from the shop, possibly just home but i remember someone with a flat deck advertising on here for a good deal. Any recommendations would be appreciated, TIA

look for Takeda Enterprise they are RS sponsors. From Koju's FB page:

If it's good enough for a Ferrari it's good enough for your car.

Yes, and he probably/hopefully charges a premium because it's so awesome. If you have a truck a Uhaul auto transport will run you about 60-70 for 24hrs. Depending on the tow, if it's a short distance (<15km) you're probably looking around 50-60. If you do decide to get it towed, get a small one or two truck company. Companies like Coquitlam towing charge a stupid amount of money.

I personally use advance towing, they have a flatdeck, don't charge extra for it and it's usually about $50 for me around town.

You're pretty much going to have to get someone to do it for you.

Best way to save money is to talk to a tow truck driver in person and see what he can do for "cash" and explain you need to do it twice and you want him to do both tows. If you book a truck through the dispatcher then he has to charge you full price + taxes.

BTW, he's not going to want to do this during rush hour when they make money, so expect to do your tow really early in the morning or in the evening.
