car accident in richmond (witness)
 

I'm not sure where to post this but I thought I could get more views in off topic.

My dad recently got into a car accident on Garden City and Alderbridge on May 22nd at 10:10pm. There were a SILVER HONDA CRV and a WHITE BUICK involved. The police came but they only had a chance to talk to the driver in the Buick since he spoke english and my dad didn't, so he had didn't have the chance to explain anything . The guy in the buick told the RCMP that he was making a left turn, while my dad in the Honda ran a red light, but it was green because of that, my dad got T-Boned . Two kind people helped my dad, but was sent to the hospital, so we couldn't get their number for bring our witness. We have a lawyer but we need witnesses that saw the accident.

Greatly appreciated for anyone that could help or give us any tips!

This happened a month ago, and you're hoping someone can give you details on what they saw? Prob shoulda posted this a bit sooner......

Maybe it was a typo, and it was actually June 2, 2010.

Best of luck, maybe put up some posters on the poles at the intersection if there are any

Yeah it was may 2 and I know its kinda late asking for witness now, but I never got the story straight with my dad until today. Now I'm just hoping for the best and see if anyone out there that still remembers. yeah, the lawyer suggested to put up some posters on the poles around that intersections. Thanks.

You need to get your facts right before anyone can possibly help... lol

Oo I remember driving by after it just happened (also posted in your other thread). Accident looked nasty. Is your dad alright?

yeah my dad is alright now, just a little chest pain from the seat beat and airbag. is it possible for me to ask you if u happen to see what color was the light was when all this happened? the guy in the white buick was a teenager with a N license and said that it was a red light when my dad accelerated. but my dad said it was a green so its word for words now.

was wondering if anyone knows if alder bridge and garden city have cameras?

dont have a clear picture but this is the least i can do.

oh i see, thanks for the support though

just saw an accident today on marine drive (near on-ramp onto night street bridge), it was crazy! white 300c tried to change lanes and ended up hitting another car from the side, other car ended up doing a complete flip!

Cmon guys any support would be helpful,

Huh? You posted on the 23rd about 21 hours after the accident. You want us to believe that you happened to drive by it the night before but did not realize it was your dad. You never heard from your family that your dad was in a serious accident at any time between 10pm on the 22nd to 7pm on the 23 (a 21 hour window) when you posted the random accident thread which unknown to you involved your dad? You then found out later that it was actually your dad involved in the accident you had driven by the night before?

Why not just come clean and say you knew your dad was in an accident and was hoping someone had seen it when you posted your original thread on the 23rd? Not sure why you're denying knowing it was your dad who was in the accident when you originally posted, pure BS.

Seriously, what is the problem here. JF is just asking for witnesses for an accident that occurred on May 22nd.

He drove by the accident whenever it happened and didn't realize it was his dad. I'm sure between those 21 hours you say, he contacted his family or dad and found out about the accident. Like he said in this thread, at the time he drove by he did not realize it was his dad.

As for the other thread posted 21 hours after the accident. He simply asked, "did anyone see the car accident on alderbridge and garden city?" He is not obligated to say if it was a friend or family member.

damn... things do sound kind of strange as to WHY some of these things aren't adding up
but there's no real motive of why JF would make it sound so suspicious...


anyway, glad to hear your dad's alright.

Sorry, I can't provide any help though, since I wasn't there at the scene.
