Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_2608wt_883

But it took 3 and a half weeks to get here, you might want to try something from NA to save time

Are there any signal boosters I can throw inside the phone or are they all scams?

LUUUUUUUU 12-07-2010 01:22 PM

are there any good programs to organize my apps icons and folders?

RESN 12-07-2010 09:23 PM

^use folder enhancer for your folders.. you can put folders within folders. It makes folders open faster and stores up to 320 icons i think

K I need a thorough explanation to why bbm is so great. It's just another IM program.

I'm on my iphone and I have msn and texts. What more do I need? If there was no bbm I'm sure everyone would be using msn (the majority of the people do anyway) which is actually better since it is for ALL phones and not just blackberry.

What I think is that bbm is integrated and it makes you feel like part of some special community. I can see how that's cool but in reality, it's no better than any other IM program or even texting.

If only the iPhone would come out with their own messenger. I dunno why they wouldn't, they'd crush RIM if they did.

jeff19 12-08-2010 12:10 AM

^ whatsapp

Not nearly the same as bbm. iPhone has sooooo many Whatsapp type apps that everyone is using different things.

Only way to integrate everyone to use the same thing is if Apple makes their own iPhone messenger and really push it on the people to use it.

Alpine50 12-08-2010 05:07 AM

^^^ yea thats true.
as for the msn thing, does anyone even use that anymore? it seems like when i log in not nearly as many people are on as they would be like 4-5 yrs ago

DanHibiki 12-08-2010 06:01 AM

A lot of the people I know still use it. Pretty much all my friends are on it.

Get all your friends to use it. All our friends use it now.

I have a bunch of friends that are on Whatsapp

I like it the best because it searches by phone # so you don't need to remember your pin or ID

boss604 12-08-2010 10:03 AM

bbm is over hyped

MTV Cribs 12-08-2010 12:47 PM

I don't get what's so good about those whatsapp type messenger. Everyone was using msn which can be used on all type of phones including the razr and it!s free. Also you can use it on the computer too. Try using whatsapp or pingchat on a computer and you can't.

+1. There's no point in convincing my friends to get whatsapp for this very reason. I have friends on blackberry's and androids and other phones and msn is the most common among them. Plus I already have my big contact list of people on msn.

Oh ya and being able to use switch between phone and Pc is very useful.

The thing about most MSN apps is that it drains your battery very very quickly. For whatsapp, since it's full push (i know msn apps are too) you ususally have it off until someone messages you. The app itself is very battery conservative, as opposed to msn. The thing about msn is you message someone and you don't know if they'll reply. Whatsapp is like bbm, it knows when messages are read so you don't have to have the feeling of "waiting for a reply not knowing if they read it or not".

It seems like you contradicted yourself int he first 2 sentences? So you know msn apps are also full push yet you say they drain battery faster than whatsapp? Unless you mean there are other things about the app that causes the battery to drain faster? You don't have to have msn apps running the background for them to work. It's exactly like whatsapp, you can just wait until you get a message before opening the app.

Also I agree the read/unread thing is kinda handy...at the same time it sucks cause you can't hide from people lol.

The problem with MSN that I experienced with BB and iPhone is that you always get signed out rendering it useless.

What app you using?

I'm on eBuddy Pro and I have it set to next log out.

Also I usually leave my comp at home so any message I miss on my phone will be on my pc

Teh Doucher 12-08-2010 11:15 PM

i used to use the native windows live messenger app on the bb and it would always log me out.. oh well, i have more people on my bbm then my msn anyways.

Tim Budong 12-08-2010 11:22 PM

I kno it's been said, but yes MSN is still probably the best way to communicate with friends on the computer. Gtalk is another one, but not many use it

Regardless, until WhatsApp gets better on the berry, its still not perfect. I kno friends on berry that have trouble with whatsup.

do u use both? iphone n bb?

Tim Budong 12-08-2010 11:35 PM

I use an android and BBM
im on BBM most of the time and whatsapp/txt on the droid

its friggin awesome. There are two things that the berry has done right
BBM
official twitter app for berry

Although the twitter app is a personal preference, i've gotten opinions from others saying that the BB Twitter > everything else.

What he said.

What's wrong with what I said? MSN and Whatsapp are both full push yes, but once you start a conversation you gotta keep it on no? MSN drains battery that much faster than whatsapp, so I rather be chatting on whatsapp for extended periods of time.

No it's the same as whatsapp. You can start a convo and close it and then go back in when u wanna reply...exactly the same way as whatsapp.
