a little off topic but i dont want to create a new thread
basically the digitizer cracked on my ipod touch 3rd gen 8gb
i read somewhere that the 8gb uses the same 2nd gen digitizer?
anyone confirm? i just want to order the right parts!
also, does anyone know how to fix the acceleromator? or is that have to do with the digitizer?

is there anyways to have a block numbers list on the iphone 4?
i had one on my old samsung and it was great....get a call from a bs number, just add it to the list and never get calls again

I find that if my network connection cuts out then all I need to do is switch off 3G and it almost always works.

How do you change the icon text on the home screen? I have this white wallpaper right now and my text is all washed out

So I went into Winterboard and checked White Icon Labels.
That's how it worked for me because it was somehow default for darker text...

hey guys im getting an iphone 4 as a trade for my torch.
but the iphone is locked to bell, my question is if i take it to the apple store
and get it exchanged will the one exchanged one be unlocked or will they give me another

what you can do though (and what i did) was go to apple first thing in the morning and set up an "appointment" to sign up for a contract (if none of the places have them like a month ago). they do about 10-20 appointments a day though, so if you go any later then 10am, you're out of luck for that day. don't bother calling either, if you want one badly enough, just go into the store, set up a time and return later in the day
keep in mind that was what i did when i got my phone (jan 7th). for all i know that is no longer the case
or you can wait for the iphone5, like ^ mentioned

^i think at rogers and fido you pay $100 more for your phone if you dont want data..are you with rogers? iirc if you keep the data for a year you can cancel for free after the 1 year.
