Meh, people always makes these stupid throw away comments like the "darwin" awards and "they deserved to the die" etc. because they are emotionally removed from the event. Sure it was as stupid thing to do but it does not justify the individual dying.

Think about it people, imagine your sibling or close friend dying as a result of a mistake, and then have people just make these stupid throw away comments like it was nothing.

There's a difference in how people die that relegates how one is respected or pitied out of it.

Some people tragically die out of accidents at no fault of their own, but what would you do if you some dumb kid is doing the following, for reasons of purely just youthful abandon.

* Driving recklessly at highspeeds in traffic; weaving and overtaking using the opposite lane.
* Kids who dangle and goof around @ 500 ft in the air.


If you still want to respect them and give them all your pity, then all the power to you. If it happened to anyone in my family, I'd be highly disappointed in their actions.

I never said anything about this being a tragedy. Don't put words in my mouth.

By saying this kid "deserved to die" is like saying that if he somehow miraculously survived this fall that he should be put to death anyways because that's the penalty for horseplay around a cliff railing.
