if u look at the comments on youtube, ign, joystiq or anywhere else this was posted, its getting overwhelming positive reviews...... its only a matter of time..... and errr until they settle that lawsuit for the movie rights

conveniently enough, WB release a trailer of a "reboot" version of Mortal Kombat with one of the original creators of the game Ed Boon leading a development team.. its just like SF4, 3D game back to the 2d gameplay

Well this was just a sample of what the director could do. Probably most if not all of this teaser wouldn't even make it into the real movie, but I'm definitely stoked with his vision of how he plans to make this movie! If they make it too mystical it will come off super cheesy like Baraka coming in through a portal and growling or whatnot ...

I think MJW is a great actor and he should definitely be cast in more roles! At least one role I can think of off the top of my head is Mr. T in that new movie A-Team ... Rampage is lame!

That new game looks SICK, I wonder when it's out and if it's available for PS3 ... the graphics still seem be not on par with say, SF4 though? ... maybe cuz it's just a clip ... *shrugs*

On a side note; After watching Iron Man 2, they should put Scarlett Johansson in as Sonya Blade! Eye candy FTW!
Sub-Zero looks truly badass, can't really see his face but with his head-shape I can't help but make me think the best casting choice would be Randy Couture or Vin Diesel lol!

You know one game I really miss too? Killer Instinct...I used to love that game where you can perform 20 ultra combos lol...I doubt that game will resurrect though haha

i loved how the moves flowed into one another. MK was just to notchy after playing KI.
although the n64 version kinda sucked

agreed but if u think about it, the ultra combo for this game was hax
i mean u dont really perform the combo hit by hit.. u just hit a certain command when ur opponents life is in the red and the combo performs itself

^^ its up to microsoft whether to make a new KI game or not, they own the entire Rare franchise library.....

unfortunately, Rare is now an empty shell, much like what happened to Infinity Ward/Respawn Ent,

much of the original staff from the n64 up to the very early years with microsoft, all left Rare, even the founders of the company is gone and Microsoft reshuffled the company to focus on casual gaming for the Kinect....


MK 2011 is going to be sick, been watching the customizable combos.. there looks to be soo much depth into the game now
