Business magazine subscriptions - student discounts?

Does SFU or UBC give their students discounts on magazines subscriptions like Forbes, Economist, Business Weekly, etc? I wanted to subscribe but holy cow it's expensive. Magazineline seems to have terrible reviews and discountmags doesn't look like they have much of a deal for these mags. Any subscribers know of any good deals?

You're better off scouring RedFlagDeals for special subscription codes that come up every so often. I subscribed to the Economist for about a year and I started off with a 12 issues for $15 deal. I discontinued my subscription after a year because I simply couldn't keep up reading it every week.

When I was a subscriber, I also received coupons every so often with offers of gift subscriptions to students, etc. If my memory serves well, I believe the cost of such subscriptions was $120-150 per year. Unfortunately that's the cost of a quality print magazine like the Economist these days.
