Refinishing Rims. Help me choose a colour.

It is that time to refinish my rims and want to do it before the summer ends. I was pretty confident that I wanted to do them in Satin Black, but now I am having second thoughts.

Bright bright yellow with or without Polish lip.
Gunmental with Polish lip.
Satin black with or without Polish lip.
Just Keep them the same?

Help me out guys....

bright pink or baby blue

impactY 06-12-2010 10:38 AM

turquoise or rainbow

jaretron 06-12-2010 11:05 AM

satin black spokes with gloss black lip.

vash13 06-12-2010 11:08 AM

hm.. only reason i might not do satin black is because it does accentuate the wheel gap a bit more. I am already lowered on Eibachs and don't want to go lower >.<.

Gunmetal throughout looks sleeker IMO, polished lip might look a bit tacky

wheel gap looks good for dd, honestly I never liked chrome but it fits the car

vash13 06-12-2010 11:14 AM

It's actually not chrome. It's hyper Silver and it's pretty damn hard to maintain in good condition.

keifun 06-12-2010 11:45 AM

GOLD!!!

gunmetal is the best colour if you don't like to clean your wheels :p

I like the way they look now... but I'd do black and leave the lip chrome.

This does work quite well. However, I don't know if it's for all bottles or am I just unlucky, but the sprayer kept fucking up on me. I had to switch to a different sprayer for it to work.

Flat Black, then blackout all your emblems and get a small drop.

jpark 06-12-2010 04:14 PM

i honestly dont mind the way it looks right now

vash13 06-12-2010 04:17 PM

I know it looks fine now. I need to refinish them and just to change it up for the heck of it since i had them for a good 2 years.

PDA_86 06-12-2010 04:32 PM

I always love a black car with bronze rims combo.
