Well atleast he took it out on this computer screen, because if it wasn't for his screen there would probably be already a few articles posted of him shooting his girlfriend in the back of the head.

... just like all those stories of parents that take away their kids games and the kids murder their parents.

Well aren't you baller.:D

Anyway, the bitch would have had a point BEFORE she did that. She had a few options.

1. Leave the guy
2. Talk to him about it.
3. If that fails then too bad. You were the dumb one who chose to date a guy like that.

You don't have to mess up shit that is of great value for someone just to get your point across. If you disagree with a girl spending all her time and money on clothes and shopping doesn't mean you need to burn her closet down.

BTW this is assuming that the vid is real:haha:.

What if this was just an F U in prelude for a break up. If so, that's pretty bad ass.

LiquidTurbo^

Oh please, it's a fucking video game...is he really going to hold his fucking fictional game characters to his heart in 3 years time? Yeah right.

Burning someone's closet of clothes that is of ACTUAL value and would cause her SEVERE financial setbacks is NOT the same thing. You NEED your clothes, you don't NEED a fucking game character.

I'm sure she had one or two conversations about this with him beforehand, unless she was totally crazy. It's clearly not a functional relationship, but the asshole should be spending more time with her and not on a ridiculous game.

Oh and if you're going to argue that you can sell your characters online, someone already pointed out that it didn't take that long to have those characters that developed, so there is no way they could equal the value of a closet full of clothes.

Ridiculous statement.

When I'm talking about value I don't mean financial value, but the aspect of destroying his time put into building his character. It may not have any value to you or me, but it sure does to him.

Let me pick a more suitable analogy.

Instead of WoW the dude was into photography as a personal hobby, not going it for financial income. He's always hanging out at the Bird Sanctuary, photowalking, taking photos all day (hey sounds like Senna, kidding:D), and editing them all night to the point of ignoring her. Then she gets pissed. Does that give her the right to rage-delete his photo collection forever? HELL no!

Who are you to judge what is valuable or not valuable to someone?

sleazyho 06-13-2010 10:18 PM

fuck i was hoping he would beat her down or something.

At first I was like WTF that guy has serious problems. And then I thought..

Imagine if you spent the last 5 years building the car of your dreams, restoring it, painstakingly taking care of every detail, ordering every part separtely, and working endless nights on it.

It's almost done then one night when you're out your girlfriend decides to smash it all up with a sledgehammer when you're gone because you're not 'spending enough time with her'.

You are in disbelief at what happened to the car and then you realized your GF fucked it all up. That is what that dude felt right there when he facepalmed before his epic RAGE. I would do the exact same thing.

there's actually a difference.
WOW characters deleted = GG /life
car smashed = ICBC claim + girl goes to jail for vandalism. GG for her.

Dragon-88 06-14-2010 10:03 AM

Blizzard accused me of selling gold cause I was literally giving away tons of gold to some friends and guildies cause I had more than I could spend. I really didn't care that much. When I asked Blizzard what proof they had of me doing it, all they said was "in-game logs shows movement of bulk amounts of gold being given to others."
Blizzard doesn't give any proof at all, when you ask for proof they respond by saying they can't give out the proof due to security reasons. When you call them, the representatives you speak to over the phone don't have the power to help you resolve the issue, they force you to speak to the "Account Administration" department which can only be contacted through emails. Here's the problem, when you email them all they do is respond back to you with generic automated responses which don't help at all and obviously doesn't help resolve the issue. So I lost my entire account and there was LITERALLY nothing I could do about it.

I lost 7 level 80's (highest level possible) with 6200+ gearscore, my main with 6400GS (fairly high), 300k gold leftover.

It's a shitty feeling for essentially being punished for something I didn't do. Lesson learned, most of the shit you buy from Blizzard, in the terms of service and the license agreement shit it states you don't actually own anything you buy from them and they can take it away from you without any explanation at all =/

Not sure why he would trip so hard when all he has to do is call up blizzard and talk to a rep, most likely get his stuff restored.

So many times I got my stuff/toons restored casue it was shit b4 a patch but godly after another (only one I can think about is ArmPen)

well technically there should be some sort of insurance thing for all services; home, car, work, health etc...
but seriously... when it comes to the privacy of your own email, business, game, online account etc...you should really keep that kind of stuff to yourself only!

but i wouldn't be surprised if WoW started charging users for some kind of security package. ie; if characters get deleted, account hacked, etc... they'd get compensated somehow

milkmilk101 06-14-2010 02:12 PM

I wana see the vid of guy hitting the gf not comp... that would be FUN!!!!

a car is real, WoW isn't, that's the difference

would you go ape shit if a tornado destroyed your simcity? or your cabbage patch kid ran out of battery?

Delerious 06-18-2010 01:25 PM

Those characters are worth a ton of coin if he decided to sell them, that sucks.

MERXUS 06-18-2010 04:51 PM

whatha fag --
just go warcraft on her now ;)

versep 06-18-2010 08:12 PM

there are people here who are looking at someone else's sentimental value from their own perspective.

honestly hung low? the tornado is part of the game, it is expected to happen sooner or later. wheres your argument now.
