Blizzard accused me of selling gold cause I was literally giving away tons of gold to some friends and guildies cause I had more than I could spend. I really didn't care that much. When I asked Blizzard what proof they had of me doing it, all they said was "in-game logs shows movement of bulk amounts of gold being given to others."
Blizzard doesn't give any proof at all, when you ask for proof they respond by saying they can't give out the proof due to security reasons. When you call them, the representatives you speak to over the phone don't have the power to help you resolve the issue, they force you to speak to the "Account Administration" department which can only be contacted through emails. Here's the problem, when you email them all they do is respond back to you with generic automated responses which don't help at all and obviously doesn't help resolve the issue. So I lost my entire account and there was LITERALLY nothing I could do about it.

I lost 7 level 80's (highest level possible) with 6200+ gearscore, my main with 6400GS (fairly high), 300k gold leftover.

It's a shitty feeling for essentially being punished for something I didn't do. Lesson learned, most of the shit you buy from Blizzard, in the terms of service and the license agreement shit it states you don't actually own anything you buy from them and they can take it away from you without any explanation at all =/

Actually you can. Buddy at work did the same thing blizaard ban his acct becasue they think he was selling gold. He got his account back in a few days though. Call them again and don't take no for an answer, you might have to agure with them for a bit but you will get it back. Basically force them to look into the account deeper.

LOL I actually know this guy. He plays on my server in a very well known raiding guild XD
PS. For more info go to windrunner fourm and you might still find the thread about it. It was pretty funny actually coz if he had been raiding that night he would have down LK that night XD

O and he is back he got blizzard to restore his character. Kinda of stupid what he did coz blizzard can restore your character back for you.

I can't believe that dumb bitch. She should have just changed his password on him if she was going to go this route.

I think you need to know the original password to change to new pw

this is in US? he should be able to sue her

When I was around 10 yo, I was hooked on everquest and it would annoy me when my gf always wanted to come over and I would miss guild raids. Now I learned that never to let mmo get in the way of real life.

Wow has begun to evolve into a very very casual mmo. In the new expansion it'll even be mor casual than it is now. The guy is obviously spending too much time on it. But I agree the bitch should have never deleted his character. Or the guy should never let her in on what he does on wow, which character he plays. The bitch is dumb, does she actually thinks that if she deleted his character that he will spend more time with her? He'd probably dump her right off the bat. Bitches should never destroy a man's hobby. She shoulda worked things out with him or go find another cock to suck on.

I don't think this was about fixing the relationship rather than just revenge/spite.

If it was revenge, or spite, it was a pretty good one.

Phil@rise 06-23-2010 11:45 AM

Classic case of some chick trying to "fix" her man. If he's got anti social behavior issues talk em out or leave don't try and force their hand. I agree with Liquid Turbo it's a bs thing to do and not far off from trashin some other belonging to gain power over them or revenge.
