The Canucks Store will not do exchanges without a receipt. |

it's a mistake to put Chara in front of Luongo instead of making him take point shots. :lol The commentator said something like this (paraphrased) "Chara's in front of Luongo, but the problem is that he's so tall, his crotch's is at the crossbar height, and Luongo's finding those pucks" I'm pretty sure later in the series, they'll put Chara at the point instead. |

looks legit, but ya tryin too hard bud |
Yeah, I think you're better off selling the jersey on craigslist or BnS. Highly unlikely the Canucks store would buy it off you.. |
It's a knockoff. Just because they are a sponsor doesn't necessarily mean they will have legit jerseys for prizes. I was watching a Conference Final game at the Boston Pizza (they are a sponsor as well) at Queensborough and their top prizes were fake jerseys. Tell tale signs: #1 - Name and numbers are not Z-Stitched, fonts are off #2 - Logo is too puffy #3 - Cut of the jersey is off. The bottom hem of the jersey 'tails' off, it shouldn't be flat #4 - The size tag on retail replicas should be stitched directly below the black Reebok tag on the inside, no gap. These jerseys are all made in Canada to a much higher standard than their Indonesian counterparts so you won't find things like a crooked size tag either. I started collecting replica jerseys 10 years ago, moved up to retail authentics and now I only collect team issued/game worn jerseys specializing in Canuck jerseys from the mid-90s to present so I know what I'm talking about. |

That said, the name and numbers ARE z-stitched. I can't say much about the logo and the cut, nor the size tag... Also, are you saying that this jersey is made in Indonesia even though it says "Made In Canada"? Do you have any pics of a legit jersey showing exactly what you are talking about for each point? Edit: Sorry, I've been calling this jersey the same as the ones worn in the game. I take that back, and should say that it's a "Retail Authentic" Jersey. Mickz, does that sound right? These are all made in Canada with Reebok’s X-trafil four-way stretch water repellent fabric (“Edge 1.0”) Everything, and I do mean everything on this jersey is stitched, it has a fight strap, and overall is a much heavier jersey than their Premier counterparts. The only sizes made for retail are 46, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58.) My jersey seems to meet all these requirements...Let me know & thanks in advance! |
The stitching looks awful on that jersey, I'm leaning towards fake. |

I don't have an authentic third but here's a couple pics I just took of my Retail Authentic Edge 1.0 Vancouver Home Jersey... slightly different jersey but the basics are still the same. http://prostocknation.files.wordpres...dgesizetag.jpg http://prostocknation.files.wordpres...dgezstitch.jpg It's 2am and I don't really want to lay out one of my jerseys on the floor to snap a picture but here's one of my friend's team stock Edge 2.0 jerseys. It's made of a different material than the retail version but the cut of the jersey is the same as the Retail 1.0. Notice how the bottom hem of the jersey is curved, not flat. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e134/Sqrawk/Away.jpg |
That explains it. Thanks for the info. Good thing you told me or I would've ended up trying to sell it off as the real thing!! |
Here's a pic of an authentic RBK Edge 7187 jersey: http://208.109.215.110/ebay/blankjer...ucksedgeTC.jpg The bottom of the jersey is curved as mickz was referring to in #3 |
my buddy won a 94 canucks jersey at some bar during a raffle prize thing biggest give away it was fake was the fight strap |
Didn't know the scf patch came in different sizes Posted via RS Mobile |
Hmm deciding if I should put the scf patch on tmr or wait till we win :troll: Posted via RS Mobile |
Taken from NHL.com: It was only the sixth time in the expansion era that Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final ended in a shutout. All five previous Game 1 shutout winners went on to win the Stanley Cup ('08 Red Wings, '03 Devils, '01 Avalanche, '84 Oilers and '83 Islanders). Posted via RS Mobile |

Not sure about the price drop in the team store though. |

I will admit, it is one of the better knockoffs... or maybe because I haven't seen amny 3rd jersey knockoffs, but some are just brutal... Also you should look at the tag, the MY in the tag of the hologram should actual appear and dissapear. Lastly, fight straps on legit jerseys are thick and the button is damn strong.. the fakes are like buttons you would find on a woman's purse! |
