Talks with the Philadelphia Flyers and Dan Hamhuis have gone sour...does not look good for them to sign him...look for Vancouver to jump in. Im told the Flyers have only offered him a little over $3 million per where Hamhuis is looking at more of the $3.75-4 million per year range.
Note: Does anyone else think Hamhuis wants to be a Canuck? I wouldn't be surprised to see a "home town discount" if it were to happen.

Flyers need to dump salary to get Braydon Coburn under contract and look at a real #1 goalie. Unless someone is taking Briere's contract, Hartnell is probably their best trade option. Dump him while his value is spiked from a good playoff because he was horrible in the regular season.
