if Ryan Parent stays as a Canuck then the Predators would have traded Hamhuis and Parent away for a 2011 conditional round pick.
FYI, Preds traded away Parent in part of the blockbuster deal in 2007: Parent + Upshall, 1st round pick + 3rd round pick for Peter Forseberg. Only to have traded back for Parent for Hammy and 2011 cond pick.
Unreal! Hope Parent clears since he seems to have a pretty good upside Update: Ryan Parent + Jonas Andersson in exchange for SOB and Gendur

Seems to have leadership potential which is hard to teach. Good to have in the organization even if its just at the AHL level

Schaefer didn't impress me at all during preseason play but I guess at $600,000 he's decent enough to fill the 4th line.
