that's what the asshole did during his last 'contract year'

Canucks looked super tired today but still no excuse for getting shutout twice in 4 games. Better effort is needed on Tuesday or you might be looking at another blow out game which isn't exactly good coming back home after a long road trip.

Detroits in trouble..

Howard, Osgood out indefinitely
McDonald's hammy strain..

then the piling list of FWDs that are injured, yikes

good news for us to get couple points ahead of red wings

Not really racist! 01-16-2011 11:29 PM

correction, Howard will be back in maybe a couple games, wishful thinking.

bieksa's play some good hockey right now but when it comes playoff time, i hope he finds some urgency to his game.. Last year's nonchalant play will not help get us far in the playoffs

Shirokov recalled by the Canucks, kids been on a tear in the AHL, 10g 4a in his last 12 games breaking a Moose record for points streak.

who's place will he be taking? not sure if it's related, but i hope kes gets some time to deal with his thumb. he hasn't been as effective lately with this minor injury.

It sounds like he's up here to replace Tambellini on the 2nd line to give him a wake up call.

Hondaracer 01-17-2011 09:43 AM

haha really? they were just commenting yesterday how AV was fine with tamby's play of late, just that he was lacking finish.

You could really say the same for Raymond. He hasn't really done anything in for quite some time now.

P.S. Minus the shootout move.

punkwax 01-17-2011 09:57 AM

Raymond > Tambellini

Raymond has more potential and a better history than tamby, he's also a better skater

He just needs to start cutting to the net again
