VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A former on-ice enforcer turned Sportsnet broadcaster has been charged with four counts of assault and two charges of mischief in Vancouver.

Louie DeBrusk is the colour commentator for the Edmonton Oilers and is accused of beating up four men and vandalizing a taxi outside the Westin Bayshore on January 9.

It was right after the Oilers lost to the Vancouver Canucks 6-1 at Rogers Arena.

He's expected to appear in community court on Thursday.

So when are the captians picking the teams?
