Hi guys & gals,
I have up for sale my collection of EVO, Performance Car, Top Gear, and High Performance Imports.
They're all magazines that are very re-readable with some great car reviews in them (unlike most of the other mainstream mags I find), which is why I've held on to them for so long (but, as with anything, once you read them enough times you're ready to let them go), and all are published outside of the country (namely the UK and Australia).
I find EVO to be among the best quality in terms of writing and photography. It's printed in the UK, and is sold in Chapters for $13.95 per issue, so it's not cheap, but it's definitely worth it. Performance Car is right up there with EVO and is similar in style and substance, and again is a UK magazine sold for $13.95 in Chapters. High Performance Imports is more of an enthusiast magazine from Australia that focuses in particular on legacy Skyline GT-Rs, although it does feature other cars. It has some good technical and build information along with some great photos. It costs $10.95 in Chapters. Top Gear, well we all know that one, and it retails for $13.95 in Chapters.
All magazines are in near-mint to mint condition (except for one Top Gear).
This is what is included:
EVO Magazine
Issues: #98, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 115, 116, 118, 121, 125, 126, 127, 129, 135, 137, 139, and finally 140 (which is the issue for February 2010)
High Performance Imports
Issues: 80, 81, 83, 84, 88, 90, 96, 104 (which is the issue for either July or August 2009)
Performance Car
Issues: January 2009, April 2009, January 2010
Top Gear
Issues: July 2009, January 2009, September 2009, Awards 2009
I think
$20 OBO for all of them would be fair. I'm not keen to sell them separately, but rather all as one package. Would definitely provide a lot of good automotive reading.
Cheers!
