Stealthfighter, I work there.

I got some shots with the lions on the field. Today was their first day on the field.

I'm all over it, if you have any left over.

I thought so. I drive by Rotary Stadium evey day for hte past 10 years and this year, hadn't seen any sign of them.

Maybe they will win the Grey Cup now. Rotary Stadium is a curse. LOL.

Are you part of the training staff? Do you know Kato at all? He was a good friend of mine from way, way back.

Game Day!! wooo

MG1 06-20-2010 10:49 AM

Are any games televised this year? I looked at TSN's schedule and nothing for the coming four weeks or so. The official BC Lions website has nothing but blanks. Not even radio stations. I guess it's too early?

I only know for radio it will be on Teams sister station full time unlike in the past where it will switch back and fourth confusing the shit out of people.

Gh0stRider 06-20-2010 07:37 PM

it seems like its only on TSN HD as of now, they may or may not change it.

You could always stream the game online.

MG1 06-20-2010 09:18 PM

I was just watching the news and they were showing a story how parking was $30 for lion games, that's pretty shitty as they jack up the rates, but for those that paid that outrageous price, when some ppl wanted to start a tailgate, grilling burgers and such, they were not allowed.

Tailgating is a big part of football, at least it is for me. I get to meet fellow fans, talk ball, eat some good food, etc, etc. Tailgating is HUGE in the states, all teams down there allow for tailgating, it's sad to hear city of vancouver or PNE won't allow this to happen.

Tailgating

‘Tailgating’ will be allowed on PNE on-site parking lots up to three hours prior to the start of each BC Lions home game. Fans wishing to tailgate must abide by the following safety guidelines:

Tailgating will be allowed on all five PNE operated on-site lots at Hastings Park.
All cars in the tailgate lots must use one spot and must pay for that spot by purchasing a ticket from the parking attendant.
Parking stalls are available on a first come, first serve basis.
All garbage must be bagged and secured in vehicles prior to departure for the game, and must be taken home with you to dispose of.
All barbecues must be propane operated and must be attended at all times. NO CHARCOAL BARBECUES ARE PERMITTED.
A fire extinguisher must be present at the tailgate.
All tailgaters must use appropriate washrooms.
As per the BC Liquor Control act, public consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

$30 per car. What a price gouge. Downtown is $20 and there is way better transit.

Gh0stRider 07-01-2010 11:36 PM

Saskatchewan vs Montreal went to OT. 54 - 51

Holy crap!

I watched the entire game and man was it epic.

I'm a huge Rider fan I even thought they were done and it was over the way MTL was dominating in the 1st half. Great comeback, hopefully they keep it rolling. :)

No doubt, for $30 you should get a handjob before the game. There is no good reason to charge that much other then they have people by the balls with no good alternative. There mean ticket price is $65, it would be like them charging $70 to park for a Canucks game, totally retarded.

Gh0stRider 07-02-2010 12:07 PM

I wonder how much the locals are charging to park at their residences.

JSALES 07-02-2010 02:38 PM

you think it's gonna be hard to find parking around 3 pm - 5 pm around the residential areas? for the game on July 10

The first few blocks have residential private parking so you could always pay someone to park in front of there house. Once you go further the street parking is free but since it's a saturday and playland is open it will probably be pretty busy around there. Best to get there early or take transit
