If I was being 100% stereotypical, then yes, I think it's true. Actually it's our fault, most women and men in Vancouver seem to strive to fit certain stereotypes even when they get offended by them (ie the club scene, we bitch about it, but do we do anything to change it? Girls still go in sexy clothes with their gfs and when guys notice them they act like the world's coldest bitches and guys go to get smashed, work up the courage to talk to said "hot" girls and leave feeling sexually frustrated/humiliated...or just drunk & broke enough to start shit with other drunken men that feel that way.)

u can't even classify this as an asian thing man, maybe there's a lot of asians around and probably y ur generalizing this as an asian thing but i would say u can catergorize PEOPLE in 2 types:
Immature/playful kinds in which probably links to spoiled princes/mommy's boy that do buy all those nice gifts and stuff and spoil the other half more or the spoiled princess/brats that will only rob the bf's wallets for gifts/ice/crystals for showing off and wat not or threatening the relation to be broken
Mature/steady kinds in which should be the smarter type and well organized, probably more of the less noble middle class ppl that will actually earn/save money for more necessity things than luxurious things
So conclusion u kinda have the wrong idea of just generalizing those 2 types of ppl to be asian, if i didn't know better u're kinda racist to asians or ur really not farmiliarized with diff ethnic groups of ppl or ppl in general, these are pretty my opinion, don't hate =)
