That's most likely because Filipino's are hella religious by culture. Non-westernized Filipino's are either born into Catholicism or Christianity.

pretty simple to make just go to any local filipino store buy the spaghetti sauce...then get some spaghetti pasta, go to costco and get some of thos jumbo beef hotdogs, ground beef, ground pork, and cheddar cheese...
in a pan cook up the ground beef once browned slice hotdogs cook them get some garlic cook it then add sauce....while doing that boil ur spaghetti then when all done put it all togheter in a dish and grate some cheddar cheese and enjoy...man now im gonna go make some hahaha....but smoke a fatty before and after the meal......

I don't have it very often, but it seems to have more spice to it than most Italian sauces. It's a really good kind of kick added to the taste though. Del Monte is what my mom usually uses, I THINK they sell it at Aling Mary's.
