AlJazeera News

Hey i just found this out and i love watching the news the more sources pov the better for me

so i thought i would let you guys know :P

So... Al Jazeera News is available for viewing on channel 175 (Shaw)

since its on a free preview (shame RT News isnt free too) thought you guys may be interested

not sure if its available for telus users but apparently they aren't available from every TV provider i think they were available on Bell for quite sometime

anyhow so far it seems great... none of that Entertainment BS or Snippets of Information merged in with attention grabbing lights and bs

kind of like the BBC channel except its not on Repeat as often

hope that doesnt change over time

Is it state run?

You want to see some fucked up news, watch CCTV during the tiananmen square massacre. Then watch TVB or CBC and compare them. Fun times

EDIT: Here is the TVB broadcast from that night, which includes CCTV news footage. It's on Facebook, so I'm not sure if it will work for everyone: http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/vid...v=110785473915
